The Reinforced Ribbed Polypropylene Rubber Back Mat is deigned to scrape and dry feet and light wheeled traffic as they pass over the mat. This option is slightly heavier than the standard ribbed version due to the reinforced construction, this means that the rubber backing rises up into the polypropylene surface to reinforce the design preventing the pile from crushing; this means the mat retains its appearance for the life of the mat.
The carpet surface is made from commercial quality polypropylene carpet surface that is moulded to a natural rubber backing. The rubber backing also reinforces the ribbed surface preventing the pile from crushing meaning that the mat remains at its full capacity for its entire life. All of these mats are finished with a rubber non trip edge on all four sides.
It is important that any dirt or debris that has been trapped into the mat is removed to ensure that this floor mat remains functional and that you get the maximum life from the matting. Detailed information is available in the cleaning instructions tab.

Floor Preparation
Prior the mat being put into service, both when new and after cleaning, we recommend the floor is cleaned to remove dust and dirt. Ensure both the mat and floor are completely dry before placing the mat back down.
Daily Maintenance
Where possible, we recommend the mat is vacuumed daily or weekly in low foot-traffic areas.
Routine Maintenance
Spots and non-permanent stains should be removed as needed, ensuring to rinse thoroughly and allow the mat to dry before returning to service.
Periodically, as needed, the mat should be cleaned using a more vigorous method such as a pressure washer, water hose. Following the use of this method, the mats should be placed in a position to allow them to drain and dry completely.
Storage
We recommend the mat to be stored flat whenever possible. If the mat is to be rolled, it is advised that it is rolled carpet side out, and only be left in this position for a short amount of time.
