This hardwearing carpet ribbed surface mat is suitable for use in commercial and other demanding applications. The runner is fully customisable and can be cut to your required length and comes in three standard widths - 900mm, 1200mm & 1800mm wide.

The Ribbed Carpet Entrance Mat Runner is a durable and functional floor mat runner designed to remove light moisture and debris from shoes and wheeled traffic passing through your facility. The Bi-level construction on the surface allows small particles of dirt, sand or other debris to be trapped in this groove and off the centre of the mat to prevent the following person from walking this into your building.

Made from hardwearing polypropylene carpet surface with a non skid rubberised backing, this mat runner can be cut to any length that you require. The ends are finished with a non trip border to ensure a safer finish and to allow light wheeled traffic to pass over the mat with ease.

Due to its great scraping functionality and the ability to trap debris and moisture it is essential that a regular cleaning program is in place to ensure you get maximum life from the mats, full details are listed in the cleaning instructions tab.

This Ribbed Carpet runner mat makes an ideal Medium Traffic hall runner in commercial buildings including schools, hospitals, aged care facilities and other public spaces.

Floor Preparation

Prior the mat being put into service, both when new and after cleaning, we recommend the floor is cleaned to remove dust and dirt. Ensure both the mat and floor are completely dry before placing the mat back down.

Daily Maintenance

Where possible, we recommend the mat is vacuumed daily or weekly in low foot-traffic areas.

Routine Maintenance

Spots and non-permanent stains should be removed as needed, ensuring to rinse thoroughly and allow the mat to dry before returning to service.

Periodically, as needed, the mat should be cleaned using a more vigorous method such as a pressure washer or water hose. Following the use of this method, the mats should be placed in a position to allow them to drain and dry completely.

Deep cleaning

The mat may be cleaned by any routine method used for carpeted floors. This includes wet extraction as well as low moisture extraction methods. Chemicals used for cleaning should be as solvent-free as possible, and following a wet cleaning, care should be taken to rinse the mat as thoroughly as possible. If a wet system is used, the mats should be placed in a position to dry completely before returning to service.

Storage

We recommend the mat to be stored flat whenever possible. If the mat is to be rolled, it is advised that it is rolled carpet side out, and only be left in this position for a short amount of time.
