The Heavy Duty Plastic Ground Protection Track Mats are designed for external use and have a load capacity of up to 80 tonne per mat. The surface of this mat has a raised non slip tread pattern to provide traction and is designed to grip to soft ground making them an ideal solution for moving machinery across newly installed or sensitive grassed areas, soft ground such as muddy or sandy areas. These mats are also used to provide a temporary road. The mats are pressed rather than extruded.Pressing (compression-molded) HDPE is stronger than extruded HDPE because pressing packs the plastic together more evenly and tightly, while extrusion can stretch and line up the plastic in one direction, creating weak spots. These mats are easy to keep clean and maintain by hosing off. They can be scrubbed when required with a washing detergent, please see the Cleaning Instructions for full details.
