The Nylon twist pile is designed to contain moisture from light spills and also what is tracked into the building on pedestrian’s feet. This unique design collects small particles of dirt and traps them inside the mat keeping debris out of site and preventing it from being tracked in by the next person.
The carpet surface material is heat seat twisted nylon; nylon has the highest level of moisture absorbency making the Nylon Twist Pile mat a great mat in areas subject to moisture. This is permanently bonded using heat and pressure to a 100% Nitrile Rubber backing, this is a very flexible and durable backing that will not curl or crack like PVC meaning that the mat can be rolled and stored and will return to its original shape when unrolled.
As the Nylon twist pile nitrile rubber backed mat is an excellent product to catch and trap light dirt, sand and debris it is essential that this is extracted to ensure that you get the longest possible life out of the mat, for detailed instruction please refer to the Cleaning Instructions Tab.
This mat is suitable for use in medium to high traffic entrances.

Floor Preparation
Prior the mat being put into service, both when new and after cleaning, we recommend the floor is cleaned to remove dust and dirt. Ensure both the mat and floor are completely dry before placing the mat back down.
Daily Maintenance
Where possible, we recommend the mat is vacuumed daily or weekly in low foot-traffic areas.
Routine Maintenance
Spots and non-permanent stains should be removed as needed, ensuring to rinse thoroughly and allow the mat to dry before returning to service.
Periodically, as needed, the mat should be cleaned using a more vigorous method such as a pressure washer, water hose, or even washing machine. Following the use of this method, the mats should be placed in a position to allow them to drain and dry completely.
Storage
We recommend the mat to be stored flat whenever possible. If the mat is to be rolled, it is advised that it is rolled carpet side out, and only be left in this position for a short amount of time.
