The Interlocking Spark Resistant Welding Mat is designed for use in areas exposed to sparks caused by welding, grinding or other metal fabrication. With its non-slip patterned surface which provides a high level of traction and the unique hollowed grid pattered underside to provide high level of comfort under foot this makes this an ideal choice in demanding work environments.

Made from a unique rubber compound that is able to withstand up to 1500 centigrade for up to 3 seconds this mat will stand up to hot metal that may drop onto it as well as resist common sparks. The compound is a soft formula to provide operator comfort and reduce fatigue that is caused from standing for long periods of time.

This mat is designed to be cleaned easily to ensure that the mat remains safe and functional and that you get the longest life possible out of it, this can be done by sweeping as required or mopping with a mild diluted degreaser and rinsing with water. For safety reasons it is important to dry the mat completely before putting into service.
