The 40mm thick, 61x100cm Coir Scraper Mat with woven edges is made from hard wearing coarse coir fibre that is designed to scrape and clean the shoes. The ultra dense cut pile surface is designed to remove a large amount of dirt and mud from shoes making it an ideal mat for use in highly demanding areas. The edges are hand woven to prevent the mat from fraying and shedding its fibre. Made from Coir Fibre which is a 100% natural product, the Woven brush coir mats are made from the external part of a coconut which is usually disposed of. By making use of this and tufting it into a usable fibre this makes the coir mats an ideal natural and ecofriendly product. The edging is hand woven to prevent excessive shedding although fibre loss is normal for coir mats. This Coir scraper mat is one of the most traditional mats in existence and therefore lends itself to historic and character homes. Sizing is nominal due to the coir being a natural product . They are not designed for recessed applications where exact sizing is required.
